Worship
Whether you’re just passing through Willow Glen for a brief visit or looking for a new church home, you are welcome here. Some of our members have been with St. Francis for a lifetime. Others are new to the community and parish. Many members are lifelong Episcopalians. Others come from a variety of Christian faiths. A few have come for their first experience of community worship. In other words, no matter where you come from or how long you can stay, you are welcome to celebrate Christ’s love with us at St. Francis Episcopal Church.

BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION
Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body the Church. At St. Francis, we celebrate Baptisms of children and adults with the entire parish. Please speak to the rector if you are interested in Baptism. An application form for Baptism may be downloaded here. Confirmation is considered a mature public statement of faith and commitment to the responsibilities of Holy Baptism those baptized as children. The highlight of this very special service is the laying on of hands by the bishop. At St. Francis, we conduct a Confirmation class and service every other year. we encourage young people to wait until the time is right to begin Confirmation preparations. For some, this may be 13, while others may be 18 or older. But Confirmation is not only for the young. Baptized adults are also encouraged to participate in this very special and spiritual process. If you are interested in participating email The Rector. An application form for Confirmation may be downloaded here.
